One of my favorite ways to decorate a room....COLOR! Lots of bright, playful colors. On a rainy, dreary day outside, a colorful room can keep ones mind cheerful. It can be played up during Christmas, it can add to the colors outdoor during the Spring, and cooled down in the Summer for those warm summer breezes.
I love painted furniture, flowers and bright colored pictures. Pictures your Children have painted is a wonderful way to brighten the room, plus, it adds joy to the child who can see their Art on display!

I love the Retro design here! I can picture myself cooking with that Range. The colors added to an otherwise white room, add a pop to the eyes without over doing it. The Chandelier brings a touch of whimsy that you normally wouldn't see in Kitchen. This room is a simple project that anyone could tackle!

I loooove the pink dresser! An easy and inexpensive project. Any found dresser can be transformed into such a beauty. I think for an added twist, drawer knobs could be replaced with decorative knobs such as below.
